Child Labour
Once this is that place -
Where we played together
Where we jumped and laughed together
Where we spoke together
Where we ate together
Don’t know where those days have gone
Where we talked of small things
Where we dreamed of big things
Where we thought of flying like birds
Where we thought of reaching the sky
Don’t know where those days have gone
Where we slept with happiness
Where we ran behind butterflies
Where we walked in the fields
Where we shared all our joy
Don’t know where those days have gone
We played with clay, but now we are forced to play with cement
We threw stones in pond, now we gather heavy weight rocks
We picked up fruits, but now we are lifting bricks
We played with sticks, now we are forced to play with iron rods
I’m lost in those olden days
I wonder what has happened
I wonder what went wrong
Where all those things have gone away
Why our dreams remained dreams in eyes
Oh..! My Friend...
You are still in my thoughts
You are still in my mind
My heart is still with you
My soul is still searching you...
